Overall, my experience at Cuban Foods Bakery was delightful. The flavors of the dishes were rich and authentic, and the service was top-notch. I highly recommend visiting Cuban Foods Bakery for a taste of Cuba right here in Phoenix.

I am from central Florida and since moving to northern Arizona I have not been able to find any Cuban food. I happened upon Cuban Foods Bakery & Restaurant and was greatly impressed. Very authentic Cuban food. Excellent food, good pricing, good service. Well worth the try.

Having had a desire to sample Cuban cuisine, we finally made it to this eatery. The exceptional service provided by both the waiter and manager truly stood out. The food was outstanding, and the impeccable cleanliness of the place was highly impressive. With a reasonable price point, this dining experience was truly worth it.

I was extremely surprised by this restaurant, the service was great and friendly. Such a simple looking restaurant in a strip mall. The food prices and portions are so great. The ham croquettes were yummy, and the Cubano was so good and simple that it worked great together. I didn't get to try the desserts as I was full but I definitely want to go back to try some.

Quite lovely. Very authentic Cuban cuisine. The restaurant is impeccably clean and the service was prompt. I am from Miami and this is as close as I'm getting for sure.

If you're looking for authentic Cuban food, this is your place! The Cuban sandwich is incredible. Love the sweet plantains and the croquetas de jamón are yummy. I forgot to take a picture of the flan that I had with my Cuban coffee cause it was devoured instantly! Very relaxed atmosphere. The prices are inexpensive for all the food you get. Great value! All the servers are nice and you really don't ever feel rushed. Been coming here for years & will be for as long as they're around. 10/10

We live a solid hour away from this restaurant and the food is totally worth the long drive. My wife is Cubana and she says this is as close to home cooking as you're going to find in AZ. I like that the dishes they serve are traditional...none of that modern fusion stuff. My favorite dish is the bistec (beef) empanizado. Be sure to save some room for a desert, my personal fav is chocolate cake. Also, be sure to try an Iron Beer (it's a bubble gum style soda) with your meal. You won't be sorry!

This place gets better and better with time. Food was delicious. Had the steak with Moro that came with salad. Had a side of plantains. We took home some of those stuffed potatoes which are still tempting me in the fridge. Place is super clean and the servers are polite and friendly. Come by. We have to support neighborhood places

This place was delicious and authentic. The food was reasonably priced and our service was spectacular. Our server made great recommendations. My husband and I left feeling very satisfied!

If flavor is what you desire, look no further. Your prayers have been answered. This restaurant is what I imagined Cuban home cooked meals would be, but insanely better. We ordered the tostones with shredded beef, fried yucca served with garlic oil, and beef empanadas as appetizers. So much goodness to be found! That probably would've been enough to eat but wait there's more! My husband and also our friend both ordered the lechones plate with black bean rice and plantains (hold the salad). I decided to go out of my ordinary getting lechon or a Cubano sandwich, and instead, I ordered the Filete Relleno. This was shrimp stuffed fish and to make it even better, it was fried to perfection. I wanted to take some home to enjoy it later but my husband "stole" what seemed like half of it under the conviction that since it was fried, it wouldn't last well going home. Granted I'm not even a huge fan of fried foods purely because I feel guilty eating them, but the fried foods here were totally worth it. Do you ever have that list of "worth it" foods that you give yourself permission to enjoy? Well, most items here meet those qualifications! ....which brings me to dessert. I couldn't decide on 1 so I ordered 4! Flan, and variations of flan and other cakes. My dessert tummy was on attack! The questions is not if I'm going back here. It is more of a question when. I really love this place!

If you're an early bird, this may be the place for you. Cuban Foods Bakery & Restaurant is open fairly early! When I arrived. I was quickly greeted and told I can sit anywhere. Moments later a server arrived to take the drink order. While the wait to place a food order took several minutes, given the steady stream of Customers arriving for their take out orders, the server was apologetic. The Empanadas de Carne were good. They were served hot, but light in color. They seemed baked, not fried. The Sandwich Cubano portion was large and shareable. It was filled with shredded meat which was flavorful, but a bit salty for my taste. It seemed freshly prepared, though the sliced ham was still cold from the refrigerator. The French Fries were served hot, but also light in color. The dining room was neat and clean. The restroom was, as well, though had no hot water or toilet seat covers. The servers appeared to be working very hard and the two who assisted thanked me for visiting as I left..
